• Platform security data: To protect the integrity of voting and prevent manipulation, we collect and store certain technical signals from your browser and device. The nature of these signals is not disclosed publicly to preserve the effectiveness of our security measures.
• Usage analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the platform (pages visited, time spent, general geographic region). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

• Account authentication: To allow you to sign in and submit ideas on your behalf.
• Platform integrity: To detect and prevent vote manipulation and coordinated abuse, ensuring that participation on the platform is fair and authentic.
• Platform improvement: To understand which features are used and how the platform can be made better.
• Content storage: To display the policy ideas you and others have submitted.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this policy.

We use the following third-party services which may process your data under their own privacy policies:

• Account information (name, email) is retained for as long as your account exists.
• Submitted ideas are retained indefinitely as part of the public policy library, even if you delete your account (they will be anonymised).
• Voting records and security data are retained to maintain the integrity of the vote history.
• Analytics data is retained by Google according to their own retention policies.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Withdraw consent at any time (noting that this may prevent you from using the platform).

To exercise any of these rights, clear your browser data and cease using the platform. For account deletion requests, sign in and remove your account from your profile settings if available.
